Students Participate in Real Life Scenarios

Huntington East Middle School Students “Get a Life” February 9
Posted on 02/07/2018

Huntington East Middle School eighth grade students in conjunction with the West Virginia State Treasury Department will participate in “Get A Life!” Friday, February 9, 2018.

The program is a simulation of real life circumstances, good and bad.  Students are presented with different life scenarios of jobs, expenses, and circumstances we don't plan for such as, car repairs, health problems, home maintenance repairs, etc.  The program is designed so students can begin looking at finances and real life situations.

The first group of students will begin at 8:15 AM and the second group will follow at 10:15 AM.  Several parents and community organizations will be volunteering.
